With the implantation of the first pacemaker over 50 years ago, the era of implantable devices heralded. We offer the entire spectrum of devices from classic pacemakers (single chamber, dual chamber or even Bi-ventricular), used for treatment of slow heart rhythm disturbances (Sick Sinus Syndrome, Atrioventricular Blocks, Atrial Fibrillation, etc…) to automated implantable defibrillators (ICD), which can prevent sudden cardiac death due to dangerous arrhythmias (eg, ventricular fibrillation) effectively. The latest innovation in device area is the cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), which leads to heart failure in selected patients to improve cardiac output. Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) is a device (like a pacemaker) which is implanted in patients with heart failure who suffer from uncoordinated contraction of the heart.

This is a device which is implanted in local anesthesia under the skin with one or two electrodes being inserted through the vein into the heart chambers. A pacemaker is implanted in patients with i.e. heart block.

Automatic implantable cardioverter defibrillator (AICD) is a device which is implanted like a pacemaker in patients who suffer from ventricular fibrillation.
